Taylor Sheridan is a remarkable story teller, his shows on TV; 1883, 1923, and Yellowstone are Good for Me, You, and The Kids Too.
What I love about the shows? They display what life is really like...it's really hard to make it BIG in America; but with great effort, comes great rewards. Kids can learn to appreciate what their parents provide; a home, food on the table, and fun time off (access to streaming shows, gaming, and vacations too).
Thru Yellowstone, I have come to appreciate and respect "The Cowboy" and ranchers (and farmers too) who make sacrifices everyday so that America can eat. I also, love the kinship of legacy, one generation teaching the next generation how to care for the animals (on the ranch), care for family, and employees too. Everyone has something to contribute to make a successful enterprise. There is teamwork, leadership, and discipline. There is also something even more important that weaves it all together; commitment (keeping your word) means something (your character, and value is transformed thru your commitment to follow thru). Actions speak louder than words.
Powerful role modeling and storytelling can instill the positive values kids need to live their full potential. Sheridan, thank you for bringing your 'Truth' thru your shows.
