A Sweet Day in L.A...Kreation Kafe...Love to Party for Good!
For April's Mom and Me Lunch, we went to Kreation Kafe. Each of the family's were sitting at different tables on the outside patio. It was a beautiful sunny day, but a bit chilly...The restaurant had many different drinks to choose from, including rainbow lattes, smoothies, and juices. The menu had many tasty healthy options to choose from. There was an additional competition for who could take the best picture of their food, and the winner would get 25 dollars.
After lunch, we went to Zibby’s Bookshop just a block away. Every girl got treated to their own book by the host, Carlos Cymerman. As an extra surprise, every family member got delicious chocolate chip cookies from Amy’s Bakeshop. This lunch was amazing, and so was the special gift at the end.
8 year old 'Lil Pup' and 11 year old 'Opal' work together on The Sweetest Paid Girl Gig, 'A Sweet Day in LA;' and report on celebrations, events, and parties sponsored by Recruiting for Good. Mom and Me Lunch (moms and daughters visit the best restaurants in LA, and daughters write reviews at the end of lunch). This month, we combined lunch with a Love to Party for Good... Celebrating Legends (girls get to meet LA's sweetest role models). This month, our sweet role model was Amy Robertson of Amy's Bakeshop.
Girls on The Sweetest Gigs learn that there are NO FREE Lunches in life...but if you put a little effort...you will always appreciate yourself, earn sweet perks...make mom proud...and Party for GOOD!
