10 Kickass Things I Loved About Nigel McClurg

in Jun 29, 2022

Count yourself lucky...if you had the pleasure of working with Nigel...a passionate caring role model...who excelled in every aspect of his life. Yesterday, I found out he passed away. I had the pleasure of working with Nigel...recruiting and placing professionals in healthcare, management, and technology. Beyond kicking ass everyday...we had a ton of calls about family, friends, politics, sports...and especially Liverpool Soccer.

10 Kickass Things I Loved About Nigel McClurg

  1. He saved my life...when COVID hit...and the economy went South...Nigel was able to get business and we found talented professionals for clients (who entrusted Nigel).
  2. Regardless of how hard we worked on searches, Nigel never complained about not getting a hire...always working his hardest regardless of the result.
  3. I loved the way Nigel talked about his wife Nadyne, his daughter, and grand daughter; he was so energized and passionate about family.
  4. Nigel loved recruiting, and helping people land sweet jobs. Nigel was such a sweet professional, went out of his way to help people find employment.
  5. Whenever Nigel went on vacation, he would send me pictures (going on a helicopter and skiing with friends), and pictures of Maui too.
  6. Nigel, loved the simplest pleasures surfing in the morning before work...there used to be a hole in the wall sandwich shop, he took me there once, when I drove down to Newport Beach.
  7. Nigel inspired me to follow his favorite team Liverpool...and we talked about soccer every other day...the Good...the Bad...and the Ugly too.
  8. Nigel and I could talk, agree, and disagree about politics, without being disrespectful...2 mature men talking about the Future of America.
  9. Nigel talked me into driving from Santa Monica to OC at midnight to watch Rugby World Cup..."The All Blacks..." vs England...live at a bar where men and women from every country shared a pint...and enjoyed the action on TV.
  10. Nigel was simply sweet...he could tell stories...and teach values...I am sure everyone that met him felt lucky to call him a friend...a rare camaraderie among men and women!

"I will dearly miss Nigel...everyday...and with everyone...he embodied Kickass & Party for Good!"
